How to Declare in the Department of African & African American Studies (DAAAS)

To declare a major or minor in the Department of African & African American Studies (DAAAS), students must:

 

  1. Set an appointment with Ashante Johnson (ashantej [at] stanford.edu), Student Services Officer for DAAAS, to discuss your academic plan. 
  2. Declare the DAAAS major or minor in Axess.
