DAAAS Alumni Open House 2024

We’re honored to invite you to join the Department of African and African American Studies (DAAAS) at Stanford University for the DAAAS Alumni Open House: Stanford Homecoming event on Thursday, October 24th from 3:00-5:00pm at the Building 360 Conference Room (Bldg. 360) at Stanford University’s campus, 450 Jane Stanford Way, Stanford, CA 94305.

This is a momentous year in which the African & African American Studies (AAAS) program officially transitioned into a department with its own faculty and offering a new curriculum. We have completed the design and selected the finishings for our new office suite in Building 80 which we hope to move into by the Fall 2025. As part of the AAAS Family, we invite you to visit the department to interact with faculty, instructors, staff and atudents as we continue to learn our past to build the future. The event will also feature a presentation of Building 80 plan and a panel discussion from past AAAS alums. Great food and drinks will be provided!
